SINOPSIS Episódio 8:

 

Tras el juicio, parece que nada puede frenar la relación entre Johnny y Annie, que finalmente son capaces de disfrutar de la intimidad de su unión. Con Coates marchándose de la ciudad, da la sensación de que ahora, nada puede perturbar la paz y proximidad entre ellos. Salvo que Coates, ha decidido que su tiempo en Jericó aún no ha concluido. Las cosas están mejorando en Jericó, con el éxito de la nueva cantera/presa. Abriendo paso con algunas explosiones a través de la roca, los hombres descubren una caverna de piedra arenisca que cambiará la suerte del Viaducto. Pero Davey, el Capataz, sospecha que podría tener fatales consecuencias. Y los peones de Jericho no se acercarán, pues abundan las supersticiones acerca de que la Mina es "Tierra maldita", el lugar dónde fueron enterrados los cuerpos de "Happy Jack", "Skinny" y "Red Killen". Mientras tanto, cuando el derrumbamiento de la mina deja atrapados y en peligro a ambos hermanos Blackwood, Coates es el único hombre con los conocimientos para ayudar, teniendo en sus manos, el futuro de Charles, Johnny y el Viaducto.

 

SYNOPSIS Episode 8:

 

In the aftermath of the trial, it seems nothing can hold back Annie and Johnny's relationship, they’re finally able to enjoy the intimacy of their union. With Coates on his way out of town, it seems that nothing can now disturb the peace and closeness between them. Except that Coates is determined that his time in Jericho is not yet done. Things are looking up for Jericho with the success of the new quarry.  Blasting through the rock, the men discover a cavern of sandstone that will change the fortunes of the viaduct. But Foreman Davey, has suspicions that could have deadly consequences. The only problem is that Jericho’s navvies won’t go near it: superstitions abound that the mine is on cursed land, the land where the bodies of Happy Jack, Skinny and Red were buried. Meanwhile, when the collapse of a mineshaft leaves both Blackwood brothers trapped and in danger, Coates is the only one man with the expertise to help - leaving Charles, Johnny and the future of the viaduct in his hands.
